President of FC Hanoi: 'The team will focus on exporting players'
Hanoi FC president, Mr. Do Vinh Quang shared that the team will focus on training young players to 'export' players to Europe.
Doan Van Hau officially parted ways with SC Heerenveen after the contract between the two parties ended on June 30. He will return to Vietnam at 2pm on August 1 (local time) from Paris (France). The flight also carries 275 other Vietnamese citizens, and will land at Van Don airport (Quang Ninh) at 6:35 am on August 2 (Vietnam time). After returning home, Van Hau will carry out isolation for 14 days as prescribed.
Chairman Do Vinh Quang shared with VOV: “The addition of Van Hau in the second phase will help Hanoi FC to have more quality choices in defense, especially in the context of pillars such as Duy Manh, Dinh Trong still has a long-term absence due to injury. For Van Hau, regular play at Jong Heerenveen has also helped this player to have positive developments in fitness as well as thinking and playing skills in one of the quality football backgrounds in Europe. ”
Besides, the president of Hanoi FC also affirmed that the team always creates conditions for players who are capable and want to go to Europe to play. However, it needs a specific roadmap, from training children to playing professionally.
“In my opinion, Vietnamese players are completely capable to practice and play football in Europe. However, we need to define a specific professional development roadmap for players from a young age so that when you are 19 and 20 years old, you can be ready to compete fairly professionally at football platforms,” said Chairman Do Vinh Quang.
