Curacao brings Premier League star to 2019 King’s Cup

Curacao recently announced the preliminary squad list consisting of 34 players, one of them is a Premier League star, heading to 2019 King’s Cup held this June in Thailand.

The head coach - Mr. Remko Bicentini selected the brightest names, in which there are a lot of faces serving at Europe league tournaments such as Eloy Room (goalie of PSV Eindhoven), Cuco Martina (Everton’s defender is loan player of Feyenoord), Leandro Bacuna (Cardiff City’s midfielder) and Elson Hooi (striker of ADO Den Haag).

Curacao is set to warm up 2019 King’s Cup by a competition against India on June 5.

If Bicentini side wins the game, the team will secure a slot in the final to face either Thailand or Vietnam on June 8.

Curacao at this time, hanging on 82nd spot on FIFA table, is at the highest place amidst 4 participants. By this advantage, Bicentini side seems to be the brightest candidate for the championship.
