Sharing of joining Vietnam national team in King’s Cup 2019, Trong Hoang affirms that he totally believes in Park’s decision.
Recently, VFF and Park Hang-seo announced the 23-man list of King’s Cup 2019. Notably, The South Korean tratergist called Nguyen Trong Hoang, which caused controversy.
Answering Lao Dong press, Midfielder Nguyen Trong Hoang revealed: “Actually, I don’t care what others said. I didn’t play but I still train regularly to keep strength and form.
“That Coach Park summoned only 23 players meant each players must put more effort to compete for a cap, So do I”
Trong Hoang contributed largely in AFF Cup achievement and top 8 Asian Cup 2019, However, it is controversial that he appears in the list as he didn’t play the whole season in V-League 2019.
Vietnam facing short time preparing for King’s Cup and doesn’t have time to test the new squad and find new factors. All players will leave for Thailand in June 6 so Park must carefully pick the players familiar with his style.
Having his name in the list doesn’t guarantee Trong Hoang a cap in King’s Cup because Park Hang-seo still have two other quality left back Vu Van Thanh and Tran Van Kien.
