Thể Thao 247 - VFB Stuttgart offers to get the service of Chanathip Songkrasin, a midfielder playing in Japan.

Matichon, Bundesliga champion season 2003-2004 is chasing Consadole Sapporo’s player Chanathip Songkrasin to improve their force next season. They either buy or loan him.

The number one star of Thailand national team was valued by 1.35 million pound. This price is lower than that of Japan bought him (2.16 million pound on February).

The press also reveals that they contacted the player’s dad Kongphop Songkrasin. He admitted not to receive any information from Stuttgart because the representative is in Japan yet he supports his son to play in Europe and follows his son’s decision.

If Chanathip agrees to move to Germany, he will become the second Thai player to represent in Bundesliga. The first one was Withaya Laokahul serving Hertha Berlin season 1978-1979.

Chanathip isn’t in his high form in Consadole Sapporo. After 11 rounds, he scored only one goal and contributed 2 assists. The team is ranked 7th on the table, 11 points less than the top team.

For VFB Stuttgart, it finishes 16th on the table. Thereby,  they must play a play-off against Union Berlin to gain a slot not to be relegated in Bundesliga.
