Representatives of the Hanoi FC recently spoke out on the news that Doan Van Hau will leave SC Heerenveen to return to Vietnam in May.
Specifically, in recent times, many sources said that the Thai Binh-born player will return home because the contract with SC Heerenveen will expire in May.
This is also an agreement between Heerenveen and Hanoi FC. If they do not buy out for 1.5 million euros, Van Hau will come back.
However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the European leagues were delayed, so SC Heerenveen would more or less suffer if they release Van Hau.
“The contract signed between Hanoi and Heerenveen side about Doan Van Hau's participation in SC Heerenveen club will end when the Dutch league season 2019-2020 ends. It means that it will fall around the end of May and the beginning of June this year.
However, European leagues have to take a break, there will be a change in the playing time. I want to say that the information that Van Hau returning sooner is not true.
In other words, Hanoi's leaders have not affirmed or decided anything,” The Thao Van Hoa quoted Nguyen Quoc Hoi.
The leader of the Hanoi club said the team also left open the possibility that Doan Van Hau would continue to contribute to SC Heerenveen after the loan ended, but many different factors must be considered.
Doan Van Hau came to SC Heerenveen last September, he was the first Vietnamese player to play for a club in the Dutch league.
Until now, Doan Van Hau has only had 4 minutes to play against Roda JC in the second round of the Dutch Cup, he is only used mainly in JSC Heerenveen playing in Reserve League.
