On the other hand, coach Truong Viet Hoang emphasizes on experimentation. Most of the players on the main team are sidelined, replacing with young players or less-capped players. The foreign players were not started.

This arrangement helps Hanoi FC to easily control the game. Right after the game started, the pink shirt team overwhelmed with coordinated attacks. In particular, the most dangerous situation is definitely hitting the goal post in the 10th minute.

However, it was not until the middle of the first half that the match score was cleared.

From a coordination phase on the right, captain Van Quyet made a dangerous shot into the far corner, defeating goalkeeper Nguyen Manh.

The goal helped Hanoi FC to play even more excited. A series of opportunities are created for the visitors. Without the excellence of goalkeeper Nguyen Manh, Viettel would have received more goals.

In order to create a change, it was not until the end of the first half that coach Truong Viet Hoang decided to launch the pillars and foreign players into the field. The sudden heavy rain caused the match canceled.

The rain grew heavy made two teams decided to stop the match to ensure the health of the players.
