Phan Van Duc: Vietnamese football cant develop with referees making unfair decisions

There were two controversial situations in the match, which made the SLNA pressing. After the match, Phan Van Duc posted a picture of the situation in the match, and wrote "Vietnamese football cant develop with referees making unfair decisions.”

The first situation was Phan Van Duc's collision with goalkeeper Quang Nam in the 59th minute. When the 24-year-old midfielder had a good ball, he was blocked by goalkeeper Van Cuong in the penalty area. However, the referee did not give SLNA a penalty, but blamed that Van Duc intended to do that. This made players and the coaching team angry, express their objections to the unreasonable decision of the referee.

The second situation is from SLNA's second goal. From a messy situation in the penalty area, the referee Tran Van Hai confirmed the ball into the net. The referee then recognized the goal and the score was 2-1 for Quang Nam. This is also the final result of the match.

After the match, assistant coach Nguyen Huy Hoang said: "The organizers need to review this match, especially when Phan Van Duc was fouled and the second goal of Quang Nam when the ball has not completely crossed the line. The main reason was that the SLNA team asked V.League organizers to review the match ".
