Park Hang-seo minimizes contact with others for 14 days

Returning to Vietnam from Korea where is considered the second largest disease outbreak in the world,  Park Hang-seo has taken actions to protect the people around him. He and his wife Choi Sang-a will limit contact for 14 days from returning to Hanoi.

On March 1, the National Super Cup match between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will take place on Thong Nhat Stadium. This is a good opportunity for Mr. Park to verify the performance of many national players in two teams. However, the Korean strategist decided not to go to the field to watch directly. This match also takes place without the audience.

Action shows Park's awareness to the community in the context of the outbreak of Covid-19. Since the meeting with the Board of Directors on February 25, Mr. Park and his wife have only been staying in the apartment at Vietnam Football Federation training ground.

Coach Park will only return to work from 7/3, the time round 1 V-League 2020 starts. He and his colleagues will arrange to follow the matches in the first 3 rounds to seek now factors for the 2022 World Cup qualifier taking place at the end of March.

However, there is some news that AFC will postpone matches in this March 2022 World Cup qualifier due to fears of an outbreak of Covid-19, especially in countries with epidemics. On March 2, the Kuala Lumpur meeting will take place to announce the final decision.

A number of matches in the AFC Champions League have been postponed, and the Tokyo Olympic Play-off between Korea and China has left for April. The match between Vietnam and Australia women's football continues as usual.
