HAGL coach pointed out Van Thanh’s inherent weaknesses

HAGL Club had a rematch against DNH Nam Dinh in the fourth round of the V.League 2020 in Pleiku Stadium on June 12. Unlike the previous clash in the National Cup, the mountain team played actively and completely control this match. The players of coach Lee Tae Hoon created many opportunities and one of which was successfully used by striker Chevaughn Walsh to bring the winning goal for HAGL.

In this match, the best player is defender Vu Van Thanh. The right-back of HAGL not only played excellently in the defense but also contributed greatly to the only goal of this match.

Witnessing the player’s high performance, coach Lee Tae Hoon proved very happy. He gave many compliments to Vu Van Thanh, but did not forget to point out the point that this defender needs to improve to become more perfect:

"All Vietnamese supporters know that Van Thanh has very fast speed and very good technique. To find the weakness of this comprehensive guy is very difficult. I think Van Thanh still can be better than this. If he fixes the pass to increase accuracy, Van Thanh will play more explosive."

The fact that Van Thanh is gradually regaining his performance, as well as the best physical foundation, is a very happy information for Park Hang Seo. Because the defender of HAGL is the most viable option to replace Trong Hoang in Vietnam National team at this time. Hopefully, what has shown in the match against Nam Dinh will help Van Thanh explode in the upcoming rounds in the V.League 2020.
