Vietnam Television (VTV) confirmed that it is negotiating to buy this copyright package. Following the high price of copyright, broadcast companies in Vietnam can consider a solution to cooperate to avoid price pressure from partners.
Quang Huy also commented that the AFF Cup 2020 copyright price increases because Vietnam is a potential market. Vietnamese people love football, especially in recent times when Vietnam have continuously achieved great success.
In addition, the partner believes that Vietnam will buy the AFF Cup 2020 anyway. “They believe we have to buy everything. Because in fact, Vietnam has not completely given up copyright on a tournament no matter how expensive the copyright price. if this channel doesn’t buy, there will be another channel to buy ”- BLV Quang Huy said.
