Thailand’s rush preparation for SEA Games
Since U23 Thailand rushing to prepare for SEA Games 2019, decides to join Singapore Jockey clubs 2019 as a chance to test their formation.

After a 0-0 draw at home to SLNA, coach Hoang Van Phuc of Saigon FC resigned because he could not find a common voice with the team.
In the opening match at V-League 2020, Saigon FC welcomed SLNA on Thong Nhat Stadium. Coach Hoang Van Phuc's team shared points with the opponent in a 0-0 draw. This is an acceptable result for Saigon FC when facing a team with an uncomfortable play style is SLNA.
In the next round, Saigon FC will have a trip on the Hoa Xuan Stadium of SHB Da Nang. The coaching staff needs to find a plan to avoid the mental influence of the players in the absence of coach Hoang Van Phuc.
Vu Tien Thanh, President of Saigon FC, will temporarily takes over the head coach position. Former captain Nguyen Ngoc Duy and vice-captain of this season, will join the assistant coaching team of the team.
On May 16, 2013, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc officially signed a contract with VFF, becoming the head coach of Vietnam national team and U23 team with a period of 2 years.
At the SEA Games 27th, Vietnam-U23s under the guidance of coach Phuc started with a strong 7-0 victory over Brunei U23. The next match, U23 Vietnam surprised when losing to Singapore U23 0-1. Although U23 Laos won 5-0 in the third match, U23 Vietnam lost to U23 Malaysia with 1-2 score in the last match of the group stage.
With only 6 points, Vietnam was eliminated immediately after the first round of the SEA Games for the first time since 2001. After 27th SEA Games, Mr. Phuc resigned as the head coach of the national team and the National U23 team.
