Meanwhile, pushing the quarter finals of the National Cup to play earlier is also receiving opposition from the participating teams.
Recently, two teams present in the quarterfinals of the National Cup 2020, Binh Duong and Can Tho, have submitted proposals to VPF with the desire to postpone the tournament. They said that with the current disease situation, the players playing at the moment will have many unforeseen risks.
According to the latest information, after reviewing the proposals of the two teams, as well as assessing the situation of the disease at the present time, VPF has decided to postpone the 2020 National Cup. However, the Quang Ninh Coal Club - the team present in the quarterfinals of the National Cup 2020 has confirmed the information.
The postponement of the National Cup as well as the 2020 V-League at this time is perfectly reasonable given the complicated developments of COVID-19 in recent days.
