Bali United defender Anan Lestaluhu turned out to idolize Thailand national team star Theerathon Bunmathan who now plays in the Japanese League.
Bali United defender Anan Lestaluhu turned out to idolize the left-back figure of the Thai national team, Theerathon Bunmathan, who is now working with Yokohama Marinos in the Japanese League which he believes has qualified quality.
Theerathon is the most expensive defender in Southeast Asia. Yokohama Marinos reportedly poured IDR 16 billion to permanently keep Theerathon. The previous season, Theerathon was on loan from Muangthong United.
In the 2019 season, Theerathon recorded 25 league appearances. Remarkably, despite playing as a left back, Theerathon also contributed three goals for his team. Three goals were created through shots from outside the penalty box.
The achievements recorded by Theerathon made Anan Lestaluhu amazed. The younger brother of the Indonesian national team player, Abduh Lestaluhu, did not hesitate to call Theerathon as his idol's left back.
"I idolized Theerathon. He is the top left back," Anan said during an Instagram live with Bali United .
Besides Theerathon, Anan also has three other idols. He idolized the figures of Rezaldi Hehanusa and Abduh Lestaluhu for domestic players. While in the European League, Anan idolized Brazilian defender Marcelo.
