Van Hau heads to Europe under 1 million USD deal?
Based on some sources which revealed that an Austrian football club is interested in recruiting Doan Van Hau with a price up to 18 billion VND.
Van Hau competition to take a slot in Austria Wien team?

If Van Hau agrees to play in Europe, he is likely to take a main slot in the left wing of Austria Wien because his talent is good enough to fight with other team mates.
Recently, Austria Wien sent a request to recruit Doan Van Hau with a loan of $140,000 per season.
Austria Wien is the most achievement squad in Austrian Bundesliga, thereby the deal is not for commercial purpose, just simply coach Robert Ibertsberger needs a quality left-back to conquer Europa League.
In season 2018-2019, Christoph Martschinko and Cristian Cuevas support each other in the left wing while Chilean defender Cuevas gets 18 caps and Martschinko caps 10 times.
Cristián Cuevas is the most outstanding player in Austria Wien since he was recruited by Chelsea in season 2003 and helped U20 Chile reached U20 World Cup quarter-finals. However, he left Chelsea after 4 years and went to Huachipato FC (Chile).
The 24-year-old defender joined FC Twente season 2017/18 and then Austria Wien season 2018/2019 on loan. However, Cristián Cuevas is set to end his contract with Austria Wien and back to Huachipato FC on June 30.
The 30-year-old left-back Thomas Salamon also parted with Austria Wien in a free transfer.
Therefore, Doan Van Hau will only fight with Christoph Martschinko. The Austrian player was born in 1995, starting his career in 2011 at RB Juniors. Martschinko was recruited by big guys like RB Salzburg or TSG Hoffenheim (Germany), but all were "pushed" on loan. When the defender failed to develop further, Hoffenheim decided to sell him off to Austria Wien in July 2016.
After 3 seasons playing for Austria Wien, Christoph Martschinko cannot take the main kick. Even compared to Doan Van Hau, this Austrian player is also underestimated in strength, only 1.73 meters high compared to Van Hau’s 1.85 height.
Coach Robert Ibertsberger is building 3-4-3 formation which is familiar with Van Hau’s play style at the Vietnam team. The player possesses extremely efficient speed, endurance and be the focal point or sit in the defense.
