Midfielder Tuan Anh: ‘Hoang Anh Gia Lai will meet fans’ expectations in V.League 2020’

Ahead of V.League competition, HAGL suffered a big loss with the injury of pillar midfielder Luong Xuan Truong and striker Nguyen Cong Phuong also moved to Ho Chi Minh City on a loan.

Sharing with Onsports, midfielder Tuan Anh said that these are big difficulties but the whole team will have to adapt and overcome.

Speaking of the newly joined foreign duo including center-half Damir Memovic and midfielder Kelly Kester, the player said.

“Through practice, I see that they have very good ability. However, they definitely need more time to understand and integrate into the team's play.

If Memovic and Kelly adapt quickly, this will be very good for Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club ”.

Meanwhile, the main striker Nguyen Van Toan said that he and his teammates had carefully prepared for a long time and hoped to have a good result in the opening match of V.League 2020.

“This time, due to a break from Covid-19, HAGL has more time to prepare, foreign players also have more time to integrate the game.

We still use the same gameplay every year, trying to improve more to get the best results.

The opening match against strong opponent Than Quang Ninh will be very difficult, hopefully HAGL will play well to create momentum for the next stage,” Van Toan shared with Onsports.
