Martin Lo and the center-back Viet Kieu made Hai Phong coach unhappy

Hai Phong is one of the clubs that continues to practice to wait for the V-League 2020 to return.

On March 26, the whole team had a rehearsal taking place at Lach Tray Stadium.

After the first 2 rounds, Hai Phong FC has won 4 points and temporarily ranked 5th on the standings. They won a minimal victory over Thanh Hoa thanks to a superb long-range shot from Joseph Mpande. In the second round, Hai Phong shared points with Quang Nam with a score of 1-1. This is a relatively good achievement for the port’s team.

However, Hai Phong FC still has many weaknesses to overcome, coach Pham Anh Tuan is not satisfied with two overseas Vietnamese players, Martin Lo, Adriano Schmidt and Diego Silva, this trio has revealed weaknesses in 2 rounds as well as in training.

With Martin Lo, overseas Vietnamese midfielder is weak in physical strength and the ability to dispute the ball. Adriano Schmidt was quite awkward in the processing phase and Diego Silva had trouble moving. Coach Pham Anh Tuan had to call these three players to remind.

Martin Lo and Schimidt were determined to change when they voluntarily stayed for another hour. Training with this duo is also Andrey Nguyen (Nguyen Hung Anh), a player who used to play in Russia and moved to Hai Phong FC from 7/2019. So far, Andrey Nguyen has not made any debut for the Port’s team.

Some other teams like SLNA also continue to train the players and have no plans to rest after the first 2 rounds. The departure of many pillars in the transfer period made SLNA have to bring many young players to the first team . Besides, the injury of Xuan Manh and Dinh Chau also made the coaching staff worried.
