The V.League must be postponed after the second round ended, making Nguyen Van Toan worried about his performance, as well as his skills.
The outbreak of COVID-19 in Vietnam has caused all domestic sports activities to be canceled or postponed, including the professional football league V.League 2020. Recently, VPF had to issued a notice to postpone the tournament until April 15 and may take longer depending on the situation of the disease.
V.League 2020 organizers, however, are still actively seeking solutions so the tournament can return to the audience. But all the given options are not feasible. This makes clubs feel nervous.
As for the players, the practice without playing will make them feel bored of the ball and somewhat affect the performance. Sharing with Thanh Nien, HAGL striker Nguyen Van Toan said:
"During the tournament without the epidemic, HAGL club was still practicing normally. But the training time also decreased since the postponement of V League 2020. The practice without playing caused players to be bored so last time the team only practiced to keep the ball feeling, not going into tactics.
Not playing so much makes me worry that my performance will go down. We have had a long time to prepare, but we have to stop playing after only 2 rounds, so not only me but the other players will feel tired of the ball and not reach the highest level when the tournament comes back. " .
Currently, Van Toan and HAGL have a relatively good start in the V.League 2020, finishing 3rd with 4 points gained after 2 matches. The long break now can affect the performance of the player, as well as the ambition to reach the top 5 of the mountain team this season.
