Commentator Anh Ngoc: 'Quang Hai is difficult to compete with 2nd-class players in Europe'

Personally, I think that Quang Hai is number 1 but in world football he is nothing. And there are many things that hinder Quang Hai's path if he wants to go abroad to play.

Firstly, Hai's position is extremely important to world football. This position requires a lot of different things from a player. It is not only about tactical thinking but also physically, the ability to adapt to each team. Therefore, competing with the 2nd-class players of the European team is also relatively difficult with what he has now.

The second is the shape of Quang Hai. In the modern football now, small players like Messi, Maradona are rare. So Quang Hai's ability to go abroad (not to say successful or not), I think is relatively difficult.”

In early 2019, Quang Hai received interest from the Alaves club in La Liga. However, the two sides did not reach a final agreement. The representative from Spain expressed his regret for losing the brightest talent of Vietnamese football today, but they fully respected Quang Hai's decision.

Journalist Truong Anh Ngoc also identified Quang Hai as the leading football player of Vietnam. However, players like Quang Hai in Europe are too many, even they have much higher level. The move to the continent to compete is unlikely to ensure he is played regularly.
